Class Features
All of the following are class features of the Artificer.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Artificers gain no new proficiencies
Spells: An Artificer adds a level to any one spellcasting progression at the indicated levels.
Creation Pool: [1st Level] At 1st Level an artificer gains a Creation Pool. An Artificer may take any magic item that they themselves can craft and disassemble it into its raw components. Doing so requires a single 8 hour period. The Artificer gains the experience points used to craft the item and places them into a reserve pool. Experience points gained in this manner cannot be used to level nor are they added to the Artificer's personal experience points. These Experience points can be used to craft other items in place of the Artificer's own experience points. The artificer can also reuse the present raw materials. An Artificer can hold a maximum of his Artificer Level x 1000 experience points in reserve in this manner any additional points that may have been present in the item are lost.
Identify: (Sp) [1st Level] An Artificer can cast identify as a spell-like ability a number of times a day equal to 1/2 his Artificer level + Int Modifier to a minimum of once per day.
Craft Magic Arms and Armor: [2nd Level] At 2nd Level Artificers gain the Craft Magic Arms and Armor Feat. If they possess this feat than they can select any Artisan Feat or Efficient Crafter.
Artisan Feats: [3rd, 6th, 8th Levels] At the indicated levels Artificers may select any one of the three Artisan Feats; Exceptional Artisan, Extraordinary Artisan, or Legendary Artisan. If the Artificer already possesses all three feats than he gains Efficient Crafter instead.
Craft Staff: [4th Level] At 4th Level an Artificer gains the Craft Staff Feat. If they possess this feat than they can select Craft Rod, Craft Wand, or Efficient Crafter Instead.
Brink Crafting: [5th Level] At 5th level an Artificer gains the Brink Crafting Feat. If the Artificer has the Brink Crafting Feat then they may select Alloy Mastery if they can Meet the required prerequisites or Efficient Crafter.
Forge Ring: [7th Level] At 7th Level an Artificer gains the Forge Ring Feat. If they possess this feat than they can select Forge Belluth or Efficient Crafter.
Portal Master: [9th Level] At 9th Level an Artificer gains the Portal Master Feat. If they posses this feat than they gain Efficient Crafter.
Master Craftsman: [10th Level] An Artificer may create multiple magical items per day up to when other restrictions (e.g., rest, eating) apply instead of the usual limit of 1 per day. He must still apply an 8 hour period of work to each item individually, as well as, each item’s experience points and raw materials. Thus he can apply his crafting abilities to the creation of 3 different items in a given 24 hour period (assuming he does not sleep in that period). It should be noted that this ability also grants the Artificer the ability to work on multiple magical items at the same time without the need to first complete a prior item in order to pursue the creation of a different item.
